I visited Amsterdam last week, in order to be at the latest Sneakerness Event in this beautiful city, which took place in the Kromhouthal on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th June. It was my first time visiting this event and I had a really good time.
I got the chance to catch up with some great dudes and of course to meet new people aswell.
Here’s a little Recap of my Sneakerness Weekend in Amsterdam.
People from all over Europe assembled this past weekend at the Sneakerness Amsterdam to buy, sell and trade sneakers.
A good amount of private sellers had their tables ready on Saturday and Sunday, with some really nice and rare runners, and also brands like ASICS Tiger and Crep Protect were represented with an huge selection for the female visitors.
Even if it rained a bit in the morning, we were quite lucky that the weather changed to a wonderful sunny day. The best part of the event was spending time with some buddies that I hadn’t seen in a while and also that I was able to pick up some pretty cool pairs.
Amsterdam being the great city that it is, there couldn’t be a better place to do an event right before summer.
Eventough they were mainly Yeezy and Air Max 1 for sale, I managed to purchase an incredible Gel Lyte V OG color way I hadn’t seen before.
There were a couple of nice pairs that caught my eye, especially the Gel Lyte III x Ronnie Fieg “ECP Pack” and the Gel Lyte III x Solefly “Night Haven” caugth my attention, as I’m still missing those pairs in my collection.
One of the negative part of the event was as always the prices on a lot of pairs, but apart from that the vibe was really good and the sound provided by the two Dj’s spot on.
Of course there were also some quite nice pairs of Asics on feet at the event.
Check out my top 5 at Sneakerness Amsterdam below:
- ASICS Gel Lyte III x Zillion worn by Phil
- ASICS Gel Lyte III x David Z “Navy Aqua”
- ASICS Gel Lyte III x Colette x LAMJC worn by Yannis
- ASICS Gel Saga OG Zebra snapped by Javi
- ASICS Gel Lyte III x Huf “Unreleased Sample” worn by Rik
Once again I had a incredible time at the event, I was happy to catch up with some fellas I hadn’t seen in a while and of course meet a lot of people.
A big thank you goes to the whole Sneakerness Crew for making once again a memorable event and of course for the hospitality, you guys rocked it and I had a wonderful time. Big up to everyone who stopped by to say Hello and I hope to catch up with you soon!
A very special thank you goes out to my brother Javi aka @jotaese27 and also to the bro Wilson @smileymalone for the good times we had around the city and at the event.
For those who missed out on Sneakerness last weekend, here’s an extended recap of the event. Enjoy and feel free to share the Pictures.
