Asics Tiger and Sneakersnstuff have teamed up for a summer inspired collaboration on the GT-Cool Xpress, which will be releasing this upcoming weekend on May 28th at the different Sneakersnstuff locations in Stockholm, London and Paris and of course online priced at 104€.
The collaboration finds his origin in the short, but enjoyable summer we all dream of. Those beautiful days we like to enjoy by the ocean at the beach with wonderful weather.
The runner features a beautiful blue suede upper with open mesh on the side panels and toe box. On the medial part of the shoe the side panels and stripes have a mix between a white and off white color way, which can also be found on the heel and midsole. Some aqua blue details give the finishing touch to this partnership between the Japanese brand and Swedish sneaker retailer.
For some of the lucky buyers this weekend, the pair will come with a special summer package including beach balls, frisbees, towels and more…
Personally I think Peter and Erik from SnS did once again a great job. I really like the theme and the execution on the pair. The materials and color way look on point, but unfortunately I don’t like the silhouette. Didn’t like them as an OG, the “Sterling” from Ronnie Fieg was nice regarding to the cw, but I’m just not a fan of them on feet…
Stay tuned for more information about the worldwide release of “A Day on the Beach” and keep posted for further Asics in the next couple of weeks!
