Crepe City Recap

I decided to visit London from April 29th to May 1st with my brother from Madrid Rodrigo, in order to be at Crepe City on April 30th, which took place in the Old Truman Brewery.
I was keen on visiting CC as I’ve had heard great things about this event and it really didn’t disappoint me…
Great people, cool music, nice sneakers, the perfect mix to an even better event!

It was the first time that I visited this event and there were a lot of people queuing for an 5£ entry from really early on.  Luckily I had a Hyperstrike ticket and I walked in at 11am and got a nice goodie bag, which included the new CC Magazine, some vouchers and stickers.
The location was so nice and really on point. The event was well organized and the security staff took their job seriously and always knew how to help. There were several halls with tables full with kicks and clothes and the best part was that there was enough space to have a chill sneaker talk with some friends without being overran by people.

The event was amazing, I’ve got to meet people that I had been in contact with for some time, but never had the pleasure to be with in person. We’ve took some nice pictures together and I had a lot of fun with the guys!
It was nice to have a chat with some people that are still interested in collecting and not only in reselling.
There was a great atmosphere during the whole day, nice sound in each hall with another DJ, good food and the most important thing some good trainers.

Diadora and Hanon were also represented, as they were introducing us to the remake of N9000 “Saturday Special” on the B.Elite. The pair was limited to 50 pieces and was only available yesterday at the event. They also displayed the previous collaborations between the Italian brand and Hanon and the new color ways of the Diadora V7000 Weave. There were also some nice pairs on feet!

Of course there were a lot of pairs of Asics on feet and for sale. If I had to choose one of the pairs that I’ve seen on feet it would definitely be between the Gel Saga x Solebox “Blue Carpenter Bee” Sample from 2012, the Made In Japan Gel Lyte III and the Gel Lyte Speed Sample from A.R.C.
The only negative part of the event was as always the prices and this time even in pounds. Furthermore there were lots of young kids around wearing some really expensive supreme stuff and looking for hyped things like Adidas Yeezy Boosts and NMDs, but a part from that I have to admit it is the best event I’ve been to.

I want to thank the one and only Morgan and the whole CC crew for putting together a wonderful event and the great effort they went trough. I had a great time in London and I’m already excited about the next event!
If you get the chance to visit one of the Crepe City events, you should definitely do it, it’s worth every penny!

For those who missed it, here’s an extended photo recap of Crepe City 2016…
