Recaps 2017

Swisssneaks #4, 28th January 017 / Lausanne, Switzerland

On January 28th 2017 I visited the 4th edition of the Swisssneaks Event in the Place d’Europe 9 in Lausanne.

A very nice Event, which brought together more than 1000 people from all over the german, french and Italian speaking parts of Switzerland. That’s the most beautiful thing about the swiss sneaker culture, even if not all of us speak the same language, there is a very nice passion that we share when we talk about kicks.
The event was amazing, it was very familiar and I was glad to see some friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. Free entry, free typical swiss raclette, good music and as you can see some dope sneakers. It’s the 3rd time this little event has taken place and it just keeps on getting better and better…

Big up to my friends Julz and Fabrice from Team Swisssneaks for another wonderful event, I had a great time and it was nice to catch up with you again and of course thanks to all the visitors for stoping by and saying hello!

Crepe City, March 30th 2016 / London, UK

I visited London last week, in order to be at the latest CC Event, which took place in the Old Truman Brewery last Saturday, March 25th. I had been on the previous year already and had a wonderful experience, so it was great to catch up with some good lads for sneaker talk. The atmosphere was great during the whole day, nice sound in each hall, good food and the most important thing good people with even better Trainers.

The CC Crew manages to impress me every year. For this occasion the Event was even better than the one I’ve been before. Again the UK lads did a great job with their collection, which is now available on their website aswell.

Thanks to the whole Crepe City Crew for doing once again a great job with the whole Event, you guys rocked it and I had a wonderful time. Big up to everyone who stopped by to say Hello and also to Glenn, Morgan and Ron for having me at CC.

Sneakerness, April 16th & 17th 2016 / Zurich, Switzerland

This past weekend on the 16th and 17th of April the Sneakerness in the Maag Hall in Zurich took place. A very special occasion, as I’m based in Switzerland and it’s the biggest sneaker related event here, that started back in 2008 in my hometown Bern.
It was a great weekend, I got to meet amazing people from all over Europe and of course to see old friends again. Nice people, good music and lots of great kicks created a extraordinary atmosphere, just the rainy weather on Sunday didn’t want to play along.
I was able to grab some vintage Asics stuff for pretty decent prices, so the weekend was literally perfect!
Sunday was more chill, there were less people so I had plenty of time to talk to some of the visitors from different countries. We all agreed on that it was a nice event, but also that the prices were pretty high…
For those who missed out, here’s a recap of the second day of the Sneakerness in Zurich.
Big up to the whole Sneakerness team,  who managed to pull out a nice event once again and I can’t wait for the next one!

Sneakerness, June 3rd & 4th 2017 / Amsterdam, The Netherlands

I visited Amsterdam last week, in order to be at the latest Sneakerness Event in this beautiful city, which took place in the Kromhouthal on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th June. It was my first time visiting this event and I had a really good time.
I got the chance to catch up with some great dudes and of course to meet new people aswell.

People from all over Europe assembled this past weekend at the Sneakerness Amsterdam to buy, sell and trade sneakers.^A good amount of private sellers had their tables ready on Saturday and Sunday, with some really nice and rare runners, and also brands like ASICS Tiger and Crep Protect were represented with an huge selection for the female visitors.
Even if it rained a bit in the morning, we were quite lucky that the weather changed to a wonderful sunny day. The best part of the event was spending time with some buddies that I hadn’t seen in a while and also that I was able to pick up some pretty cool pairs.
Amsterdam being the great city that it is, there couldn’t be a better place to do an event right before summer.

A big thank you goes to the whole Sneakerness Crew for making once again a memorable event and of course for the hospitality, you guys rocked it and I had a wonderful time. Big up to everyone who stopped by to say Hello and I hope to catch up with you soon!

Burgers&Sneakers, June 25th 2017 / Fribourg, Switzerland

On June 25th I visited the 2ndedition of the Burgers & Sneakers event in the Cyclo Café in Fribourg! I had a great time and was happy to catch up with some old friends.

The event was bigger compared to the last year, as they managed to put some tables outisde of the pub. The weather couldn’t have been better and the visitors were enjoying themselves. Especially the french part of Switzerland was represented, as the event took place in a french and german speaking region of Switzerland.

Lots of enthusiasts and sneaker collectors we’re there enjoying the sunny day, the amazing burgers and of course the cool people at the event.
Check out the recap below to see what you’ve missed and be sure to not miss the next one!
